After announcing my cosplay winning moment at the Philippine Toy Convention 2008 (Toycon), I guess it’s also time to post about other moments that I enjoyed during the event.

Cosplaying Again
I took a short break from cosplaying ever since I started working again regularly last April. The last cosplay convention I joined was Philippine Cosplay Convention (PCC) back in March. I’ve missed around three conventions that time and my friends relayed to me that some folks were looking for that Super Mario cosplayer who joined at PCC. Kinda encouraged me to cosplay again so I went full blast at Toycon Day 1.

Being with Old Friends Again
One of the best things about conventions is meeting friends whether old and new. I’d like to shout out to my friends Dani, Mica, Hardgay, AC, Ria, and Chester.

Hanging Out at the Cosplayer’s Lounge
It was so relaxing at the Megatrade office. It was converted to be a cosplayer’s lounge for the day. Look what matrixshino caught me doing at the lounge!

He caught me playing with my… Nintendo DS!

Meeting myself!
Well sort of. I found another Mario cosplayer in the form of Martin Aquino. Long live Mario!

That about sums up my favorite Toycon 2008 moments. Overall, the event was great and it seems well organized. Being a Toycon first-timer, I could say that the experience was very memorable in my part. See you all again in the next conventions to come!
