Popular tech and multi media entertainment site CNET recently made a comparison review of both the Sony Playstation Portable (PSP) and Nintendo Dual Screen (DS) in their Net TV program called Prizefight. PSP has an edge when it comes to graphics and extra features.
But the DS owns when it comes to the most important aspect known as the game library and innovative gameplay experience. Also, the 8 hours plus battery life has also been praised as compared to meager 2-3 hours battery life of the PSP.
Point is, I buy gaming platforms to play games. I use my PC to to browse the web and watch videos. That’s why DS is really THE handheld platform for gaming.

Childish? Then why do I know so many people who are above 20 and 30, including myself, who enjoy DS more than PSP? Hahaha.

psp boy ako eh pero I agree na mas maganda nga ang gameplay experience sa DS dahil nadidinig ko din na mas madami yung magagandang game sa DS. sa PSP kasi onti lang ung mgaganda at matagal mong malalaro.
un nga lang kaya PSP pa din ako dahil sa “versatility” kumbaga (music tsaka vids plus bonus na net browser.hehe). mas adik kasi ako sa music kesa sa games.hehe.

hmmm mas oki ang psp 4 me cause bibihira nabili nang ds maybe sa ibang aspect lamng un ds pero pang overall un psp tlga sa grapics pa lng…eh … saka sa tingn ko kahit un mga bata pag ask mo sila anu gusto nyo gift 4 christmas panigurado psp yan hehe.. ewan ko ba galing dumiskarte nang sony lakas nang dating pati sa pinoy wahahha… like nun hs pa me un batle between sony ps1 nd sega dreamcast sa grapics sobrang panalo dreamcast pero ps1 still the winner ….. pero mahirap din i compare ang dalawa parang grapics versus creativity ang labanan un ds more on creativity un sony grapics sya tlga…

walang kwenta ang magandang graphics pag pangit ang gameplay.
ung psp kasi, its like a smaller ps1 or ps2. may nabasa nga ako na if a ps1 or ps2 is an orange, buying a psp is like buying a smaller orange, and buying a ds is like buying an orange and an apple.
the ds and the wii may not be the greatest consoles and handelds, but it DEFINETLY changed the way of gaming.

DS definitely owns PSP. Madaming nagsasabi na panalo ang PSP sa versatility. Nah-uh.. May Linux ba ang PSP?

How about the MoonShell Software? MoonShell let’s the Nintendo DS play music and videos. Not to mention text and picture files too.
PSP browser? LOL. Haven’t you guys heard about the Opera Browser for Nintendo DS? Browsing using NDS is a lot BETTER than PSP. Why? Touch Screen baby.
Oh, and the most important part of all. The GAME LIBRARIES like MD and CNET said.
Haven’t you guys heard or even tried The World Ends With You? How about Legend of Zelda: The Phantom Hourglass? Or even the simple Trauma Center? The upcoming ChronoTrigger? The BETTER gameplay Final Fantasy Tactics A2?
What do most PSP owners play? LOL. Fight Night? Tekken 5? Crisis Core? Valkyrie Profile? oh and by the way, not to mention that almost all these games are in PS2. LOL. Where’s the gaming experience?
PSP owners aren’t gamers. They trend followers or more like of teeny boppers.
