Day 2 of Photo World Asia 2008 is over. It was a blast I tell you. It was the first time that I really felt connected with the Pinoy Cosplay community, probably because this is the first time I joined a cosplay event on my own, without The Frost Jokers this time. There wasn’t a group category anyway.

I was more free this time to interact with all the cosplayers. And guess what else happened? Find out after the jump!
Armed with my violin and knowledge of common cosplayer’s music, I played and played… and played music to everyone’s (dis)pleasure. Haha! There also came a time when the waiting was too long that me and my fellow cosplayers decided to do a sing a long session with me on the violin.
Also, meeting and finally talking with the cosplayers that I only see from afar during previous conventions was satisfying. It feels as if my world expanded a little bit today by gaining new friends.
And the best part? It wasn’t the catwalk or the contest. It was the on-the-spot RPG street battle! We all re-enacted a Final Fantasy-esque turn based battle scene as if we were characters from the game itself. It was shot on video, I hope it gets posted soon!

I especially want to greet my cosplayer friends Hazy, Chester, Fatima, Jen, Mao and new found friends Nisah, Anne, Lorie, Shana, Mel, Zel and many, many others who’s names I can’t recall much.
Oh and to top it off, I was chosen as one of the Top 25 finalists and won a YKL goodie bag. A fun day indeed!
