After winning the Best Group Cosplay at the Lineage II Event, I decided that I’d go drop by the next cosplay event at the Philippine Online Gaming Summit 2008. It was scheduled the day after and I planned to join the individual cosplay as well (there was no group category) but alas I woke up late and was sure that I won’t make it at the cosplay registration deadline. But it was ok, I slept late because me and The Frost Jokers celebrated our recent victory. Anyway, I’ll tell you more about my POGS 2008 adventures after the jump!

I arrived around past 3pm. The cosplay event was just about to start, lucky me, at least I didn’t miss it. It was announced earlier that the “ticket” to enter the summit is a copy of Game Magazine, November 2007 to January 2008 issue only. Again, another stroke of luck hit me as I already had a copy of the November issue because my guide was featured there.

My first stop was the Level Up booth, I wanted to take pictures of the Ragnarok community, the cosplayers and of course greet my friends from Level Up as well. Look who I found at lurking the vicinity.

Next, I went at once at the stage area to see the cosplayers. I saw some familiar faces from the Lineage II event as well some cosplayer friends of mine. Later on Frost Joker Edwin came and helped me take pictures.

When the cosplay event started, I can’t help but being so jealous at the cosplayers. I wanted to be in my Clown outfit again and play Bragi’s Poem onstage! But I guess that has to wait for another cosplay event announcement at cosplay.ph. *Sigh* Punishment for always sleeping so late. Haha! After cheering for my favorite cosplayers, Moonstar88 performed some of their original songs. Afterwards the host facilitated the raffle draw. Congratulations to the lucky winners of the Nintendo DS and Wii. How I wish it was me though.

Anyway, to cap off the day Edwin said I must go on a quest… a quest to have a photo of all the promo girls. And so I embarked on this quest… and proved to be successful in the end. *evil grin* I could show you the pictures now, but I’m afraid I’m saving it for my next post. But here’s a teaser!
