Immigrant Filipina singer Madonna Decena, who is currently competing at this season’s Britain’s Got Talent, has made it to the semi finals. For those of you who don’t know, Decena migrated to the UK so that she could make money for the sake of her two daughters back in the Philippines. Her audition garnered her an enthusiastic standing ovation and brought female judge Amanda Holden to tears because of her stunning performance.
I’m rooting for her and I would very much like her to win. It’s going to be a big break for her and another international milestone for the Filipino.
