Hello again to all my readers! It’s been a very busy month for me but I finally found time to give you your overdue Gamer Girl update. Today’s Gamer Girl is special. She works with one of movers of the Philippine gaming industry, E-Games. From elegants cities of Granado Espada, I bring you its Community Manager, none other than Gamer Girl Veyah!

Being a girl earns more respect; I gain lots of friends in-game and I get to finish my quest and get lots of items from them (just kidding!). But besides my gender, a lot of gamers now do recognize us, femmes in the gaming world, and it’s nice to see that there’s no “because you’re a girl… blah blah” when guys are being pwned by us. My best asset so far is that I’m calm during PVPs, however I tend to tease and would easily join a good round of trashtalking. XD~

Favored genre? (RPG, shooter, platformer, action adventure, etc.)
RPG and shooters~ It’s what keeps my mind on focus and away from stress.

In an alternate universe where everyone is a gaming character, which videogame character are you? Why?
I conducted a survey to my officemates: one says I’m Lara Croft, one would say I’m Tira of Soul Calibur, and Tifa of FF7. For me, I’m more of Millenia, the villain and main character in Kagero: Deception 2. She’s the girl that can trick you into one of her traps…

What’s your message to all the gamers out there?
Due to the support from the recent Girl Gamer Gathering I’ve conducted last March, adding up to the comment that we are not a myth, do not think less of taking risks just because you’re a girl. Prove to the world what you’re made of. The gaming world is everyone’s battlefield. Happy Gaming! ^_~
