Yes, this is my first article about Diablo 3. It has been announced for quite a while but I’m only writing about it now. Some months ago, the release of Diablo 3 was anticipated when knowledge spread that developer Blizzard purchased the domain diablo3.com. But that’s not what I’m going to discuss here.
Fans of the Diablo series has recently filed an online petition with more than 17,000 signees so far. They are protesting the artistic direction of Diablo 3 saying that it is too “cartoony” and clean. According to them, the Diablo realm should be grim and dirty looking. They even went as far as editing the existing game screenshots provided by the developer, to show what they want to happen.

While the petition starters may have some valid points, it is still too early to give the game such a heavy judgment in its early stage of development. I’m a Diablo fan myself but I really think we should all wait for the game to be at least almost finished. Blizzard hasn’t really failed me in terms of gameplay and overall game feel. Seriously, to all those protesters, I do believe Blizzard knows what it’s doing so lets just relax and wait for further developments.
In the meantime, why don’t you do some online personality tests like what I’ve done recently.
